I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the generous scholarship support I have received. As an international student from Indonesia, I am well aware that the education and living cost is significantly higher in Japan. This opportunity allows me to ease the financial burden on my family and focus on my studies without the added stress of financial worries. This is especially meaningful to me because this semester I have had many extra expenses, such as purchasing robotic parts and attending kenkyuukai gasshuku, while only being able to work part-time once a week due to my busy class schedule.
My dream is to work in research related to technology for improving human health. This is why currently I am exploring various IT, biology, and bioinformatic related classes, and I am happy that SFC provides the perfect opportunity for it. I joined two kenkyuukai this semester, the first is Takashio’s Sociable Robot Kenkyuukai. Through hands-on experience, I learn the basics of utilizing fusion360 (3d software), arduino, motors, and sensors to design a robot. The second one is Suzuki Haruo’s Bioinformatics kenkyuukai. I am currently researching AMR on Acinetobacter baumannii, a challenging and medically significant pathogen. Although challenging, being able to work hard for meaningful research that aligns with my future goal feels really rewarding.
Outside of academics, I am also a member of Dolce Wind Orchestra, as a flute player. For me, this circle has helped me grow in many ways, such as improving my confidence through performance, learning the importance of dedication and time management through balancing studies with regular practices, and enhancing social skills. It is also a meaningful way to practice my Japanese skills while connecting with Japanese students outside of my usual international students social circle.
Once again, thank you very much for your generous support. This scholarship has truly made it possible for me to pursue my goals and grow both academically and personally in Japan. I am committed to make the most out of this opportunity and live up to your expectations.

I am writing this letter to express my sincere gratitude for making the Year 2025 Keio Gijuku Iji-kai Scholarship possible. I am truly honored to have been selected as a recipient, and I will continue to devote myself to my research and pursue my career goal in the entertainment business.
I spent my entire life abroad before enrolling at Keio University. Entering during the pandemic was particularly challenging, as my family faced significant financial difficulties and I had to travel to Japan alone amidst global uncertainty. My father, who works in the tourism industry, had been our main source of income, but the decline in Japanese tourism during the pandemic deeply impacted his business. Even today, the weak yen is discouraging international travel, preventing his business from fully recovering. My mother and I have taken on part-time jobs to help cover living expenses and tuition, but it has been far from sufficient. Without the generous support of Keio University scholarships, continuing my studies here would have been impossible. Words cannot fully express how deeply grateful I am for this support.
Since entering college, I have explored a wide range of academic interests, such as architecture, programming, and linguistics, before ultimately focusing on marketing. I have been part of a business marketing seminar for the past year, where I am currently working on my graduation project, which focuses on fan marketing in Japan. The goal of my research is to identify opportunities for global expansion and to apply what I’ve learned in order to help spread Japanese knowledge and culture abroad. Outside of class, I have been a member of a school festival planning circle since my first year. Through this experience, I developed skills in project planning and business communication by coordinating with professionals in the entertainment industry to make events possible. After graduation, I plan to intern at a business startup this fall to further strengthen my practical skills and deepen my understanding of the business world. Ultimately, I aspire to contribute to the entertainment industry, where innovation and cultural exchange are constantly evolving.
Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generous support. I will make the most of this opportunity, continue growing both academically and personally, and one day give back by applying what I have learned to support others and achieve my goals.
